BIOGRAPHY
As a young boy David G. Kincer was raised, along with four brothers, in Mayking, Kentucky, by Christian parents. He gave his life to Christ in 1963 at the age of 21 and ever since, David’s focus has been the Word of God, the Bible.
After becoming filled with the Holy Spirit, God drove David deeper into the Word of God. He began studying the Bible verse by verse on an average of 10 hours per day. Since that day until now David has remained faithful and involved. He was appointed elder and youth pastor at Living Faith Church and began ministering God’s Word in jails, on street corners, in military Servicemen’s Centers, and at skid row Missions.
In 1978 under his leadership, the members of The Vine Church opened a Christian school where their children and the children of the community could be nurtured in the knowledge of Christ as well as receive a high quality academic education in a protected Christian atmosphere. Pastor Kincer has served as principal and classroom instructor, including the development of high school curriculum, since the school’s opening in 1978.
Pastor Kincer not only has a heart for the local church, but his spirit yearns for the people of all the nations of the earth. Since 1978, Pastor Kincer has ministered God’s Word around the globe; in Africa, Brazil, El Salvador, Paraguay, and Mexico. In response to invitations as key speaker, pastor, and teacher, he has ministered in church conferences, leadership seminars, and individual churches. Among these nations it is interesting and somewhat unusual that he has had the privilege to speak in a wide variety of churches including Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Episcopalian, Assembly of God, Pentecostal, and other various independent and non-denominational churches.
David was appointed senior pastor of Mountainside Ministries in 2006 and continues to oversee the church and school located in Lake Elsinore, California. He is the father of six sons and two daughters. He lives in Lake Elsinore with his wife, Rebecca, and two youngest sons.
David continues to seek God daily for a fresh Word for God’s people. He has read the Bible in its entirety over 94 times and is noted for his ability to teach its application concerning the practical “everyday things of life” with simplicity and clarity, yet with depth and richness. It is obvious that he has a real mantle to use the Word of God to reach the heart, and is compelled by knowing that God’s Word changes lives, making them whole, by the natural and spiritual blessings that come with the understanding and embracing of the teachings of Jesus in God’s Word.
